This weekend support this simple campaign to celebrate the benefits of universal pharmacare for Canada in a fun, good-spirited way. All you need to do is post your “Pharmacare Valentine” to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or LinkedIn.
As you know, the federal, provincial, and territorial health ministers agreed to strike a Pharmacare Working Group when they met in Vancouver. There is no reason to believe they will not meet and work together in good faith and with full attention to evidence about options for ensuring equitable access to medicines. This #PharmacareValentines campaign is a way of showing them some love, so to speak, and to encourage them to consider the ethical and economic case for universal, evidence-based pharmacare in Canada.
So, please help out. And, when posting, please use the #PharmacareValentines hashtag. If possible, please also CC your premier, health minister, or prime minster. A tweet might look like this example:
