Outlook on nursing

What’s your outlook?

The Outlook on Nursing survey aims to find out more about nurses’ work environments. This research will help us examine the relationships between nurse staffing, nurses’ work environment and nurse outcomes in Canada.

Who should participate?

This Canada-wide survey invites responses from all currently practicing nurses (i.e., RNs, NPs, RPNs, LPNs) across all employment sectors (i.e. hospitals, long-term care, community including home care, primary care, public health, etc.).

Who is conducting this research?

The University of Toronto and the Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions are conducting this research. The study’s principal investigator is Dr. Linda McGillis Hall, a professor at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto.
