Happy Holidays from all of us at the CFNU

Happy Holidays

From all of us at CFNU, we’d like to wish you a joyous holiday season and a Happy New Year.

The past few years have been difficult, to say the least; we hope you find some time, this holiday season, to reconnect with friends and family, rest, and recuperate. Like every year, we know countless nurses will be working to keep us safe over the holidays – this year is certainly no different. To them, we send our deepest thanks and our tightest virtual hugs.

The holiday season can be a joyous time for many. For others, it can increase stress and deepen feelings of loneliness. Remember to set some time aside for self-care. If you need to speak to someone, don’t forget that the CFNU has many free resources available on our website.

It will get better. Take care of yourselves, and each other.

In solidarity always,

Linda Silas
President
Canadian Federation of Nurses Unions

Instead of distributing paper holiday cards, the CFNU is once again donating to snowsuit funds and other youth-serving charities across the country that assist families and children living in poverty.
