Study estimates that approximately 528,000 workers in Québec were exposed to psychological harassment at work over a one-year period, representing about 15% of the survey population. Some 90,000 individuals were exposed to sexual harassment and 69,000 people were exposed to physical violence, representing 3% and and 2% respectively.

Survey of 2,889 workers in seven categories of employment. 34% of the workers surveyed had experienced serious violent acts (SVA). Nursing staff had significantly higher rates of SVA, and the highest rate when all acts of violence were taken into account.
